Tough Duck Marine warrants its outboard motor covers as well as convertible boat tops & covers, will  meet applicable industry standards and warrants to the original purchaser, for a period of one year from date of purchase, that their top/cover is free from defects in material and workmanship in accordance with standard care practises as recommended by Tough Duck Marine.

This one-year warranty period begins the date of delivery of this product to original purchaser.  This warranty will not apply to any product of it is determined by Tough Duck Marine that the product became defective or damaged because of neglect, misuse, abuse, and accident or if it was used for purposes not to which it was not intended.  This warranty is void if alterations have been made to the product.

Return Policy

For any returns, a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) MUST be obtained by contacting through email our customer service at Tough Duck Marine.  When applying for authorization, please have a copy of the original invoice and include all data / information as to why the item is being returned.  Remedy of defective materials of workmanship shall be the repair or the replacement of the product solely at the discretion of  Tough Duck Marine and shall complete all repairs under this warranty at their Winnipeg location. 

To return a warranty claim, an “ RGA” must be obtained and clearly marked both on package and accompanying paperwork.  All returns must be shipped pre-paid by shipper.  Returned items will not be accepted without a RGA number.  If Tough Duck Marine is unable, within a reasonable time ( as defined by Tough Duck Marine ), to repair or replace any product to a condition as warranted, the original purchaser may request in writing a full refund of the original purchase price.

Restocking and Cancellation fee

There is a standard 20% cancellation fee on any order cancelled after receipt of order but prior to manufacturing.  Once an order enters the manufacturing process it will be treated the same as finished goods and be subject to a 35% restocking charge at the discretion of Tough Duck Marine. 

Products may be returned, upon authorization by Tough Duck Marine., within two weeks of purchase date.  A restocking fee of 35% will be assessed and a credit will be issued to the original purchaser.  Returns must be new and unused.  Customer pays all return freight charges.  Merchandise cannot be returned more than 3 weeks after the date of purchase from Tough Duck Marine.

Liability will be limited to the original cost of the product in question.  No employee or agent of Tough Duck Marine has the authority to modify the terms of this warranty in any manner whatsoever without the express written permission of Tough Duck Marine.

Tough Duck Marine reserves the right to make improvements in design, construction, and appearance of products without notice.


At TOUGHDUCK MARINE, we make everything you order from scratch, especially for you! This means we need a little time to make your product before we ship it off to you. We work hard at getting your products made as quickly as possible and ask that you please allow up to two weeks for production prior to shipping. Thank you.

Taxes / Shipping Policy

All appropriate taxes, shipping and insurance charges are added to the total cost of the order and are the responsibility of the customer. As well, all Customs and Brokerage fee's are the responsibility of the customer. Our checkout area will calculate tax and shipping charges based upon the geographical location set for delivery. Products are typically shipped via mail or courier to Canada and the US. On International orders we will confirm shipping method and rates via e-mail. For goods damaged in shipping we require notification within' 72 hours of delivery so that we can claim with our carriers.

  • We are not responsible for any damage that may occur during shipment to the items you are returning. For your own protection, you may wish to send your return by insured parcel post or courier.
  • Unless we made an error in order processing or shipping, we will not refund return shipping charges.
  • All refunds, including any refunds for return shipping charges, will be credited to the credit card used in your purchase. We will make every effort to process your refund quickly and you will be notified of your refund by e-mail.
